It’s organised by International House Barcelona, the Fundació Catalana de l'Esplai and the Secretaria General de Polítiques Educatives of the Departament d'Ensenyament de la Generalitat de Catalunya in the framework of social iniciatives and activities towards excellence.
The Fonix takes place every year in Catalonia and it is designed to promote the use of English among school students through a fun and encouraging competition in an informal educational setting.
The territorial stage was held in Tarragona on the 27th February. The candidates who passed the 1st stage in our Secondary Shool were David Gil Martínez of 1st ESO; Marina Vidal Garriga of 2nd ESO; Roger Rull Rafí of 3rd ESO; Clàudia Salvat Figueras of 4th ESO; Pau Montalà Nolla of 1st BAT, and Itzíar Coflent Anglès of 2nd BAT. We would like our candidates were selected for the final stage which will be held in Barcelona!
