They went to see two classic plays in Spanish: a Greek tragedy (Bacchae, by Euripides) and a Roman Comedy (Miles Gloriosus, by Plautus). The Bacchae deals with the two opposite sides of human nature while the Miles presents many topics related to vaudeville comedies. The students visited the ancient city of Tarragona and they prepared an oral presentation in English about some archaeological findings: the pretorium, the circus, the provincial forum, and the defensive walls. They also described the mock-up of the Colonia Iulia Urbs TriumphalisTarraco.
